Site Engineers Ltd is a Hawke’s Bay company that operates throughout Australasia. They provide specialist engineering services and are the ‘go to’ company for high-risk applications, such as sulphuric acid and asbestos work. Site Engineers came to TK:DESIGN in need of a website and a re-brand as they wanted a more professional appearance to match their existing professional and expert skill sets.

Site Engineers Responsive Website Design
Date: 27 Mar 2013
We created a new website for Site Engineers to showcase their skills and expertise. This included creating a new logo to reflect their Zero-Harm philosophy and safety record. An important part of this development was the Case Studies slider – the client had an extensive library of images and what better way to tell the story of what they do than to pair those images and let them illustrate the work. Responsive design, the website is easy to navigate and read across a variety of hand-held devices.
The client already had a strong vision of the logo so TK:DESIGN was there to re-craft and make it suitable for a variety of uses. The logo is a stylised oval incorporating the company name to form a contained badge. It is a solid unit, conveying strength and authority. The typeface is a strong geometric which is highly legible in a number of sizes and suggests technology and structure. Orange was the preferred colour as it represents the hazardous work they do.
Zero Harm logo
Date: 27 Sep 2013
The symbol of the Zero Harm logo is a stylise ‘null’ or mathematical zero and is designed to resemble the oval of the Site Engineers logo. The same typeface is also used for legibility and uniformity, with the word ‘zero’ in a heavier weight to emphasise the message. Like the Site Engineers logo, the Zero Harm logo is meant to convey strength and authority.
Site Engineers business cards
Date: 5 Dec 2012
These two-sided business cards were offset printed with a spot varnish over the logo. The image on the back of the card is the same image from the website.
Site Engineers Tabbed Brochure
Date: 27 Sep 2013
This A5 brochure was designed as a promotional piece for prospecting sales. It is digitally printed on 210gsm with staggered pages for easy location of subject information and has a folded cover flap printed on specialty paper to give it that little something extra.
